That Batcopter looks like I took some ideas from Mego's
These toys are so familiar ooking. I'll bet I saw more of them in stores than real Megos.
Talk about an amazing flaskback! I used to see so many of those AHI toys when I was really young. I had quite a few of them and always really enjoyed them. A lot of play value. Also, I love the artwork on the packaging.
This is a very underrated brand, in my opinion.

Rampart, this is Squad 51. How do you read?
Oh, to follow-up, I really love the stunt cycles/bikes. I didn't know so many of them existed. And, I have never seen the Shazam parachutist (loved those guys, by the way and an remember playing with them, often). Wow!

Love them catalogs. It's funny, but under the Space:1999 Parachutist description it says Spaceman and Captain Kirk - Sorry, AHI, but wrong low budget sci-fi show. Must find a Shazam Parachutist....

Excellent!!!!!!!!! Love the Ahi stuff!
Great stuff. It's really shaping up to be quite comprehensive.
I too got excited at the possibility of a Parachutist Shazam.
Good catch! In the same listing, the Shazam parachutist is called "Zhazam"!Love them catalogs. It's funny, but under the Space:1999 Parachutist description it says Spaceman and Captain Kirk - Sorry, AHI, but wrong low budget sci-fi show. Must find a Shazam Parachutist....
It's hard to tell in the small pic, but on the Zoom Cars page, the drawing of Batman swinging on the Batcycle package looks to be the actual Mego version of that image used on all the early Batman packaging! AHI seemed to use the original source of this pose by Infantino on the Batplane packaging on the Friction Cars page, but that Batcycle package sure looks like the Mego artwork to me!
No wonder Mego hated those guys!
