    Vintage Mego: Heroes World

This week’s Vintage Mego isn’t about toys but a celebration of the pioneering Heroes World chain, their catalog helped spread knowledge about Mego and other toy lines. It was the 1970s internet! I’m joined by some special guests this episode, Art Baltazar, David Weiner, and Dr. Mego for the retrospective on the amazing Heroes World…

That was pretty interesting. I didn't know much of the back story.

I did order from it but never made it to a store.

Yeah, I learned much as my childhood was void of Heroes World. So how did you all get these catalogs?… freebies at comic shops?

Anyone archive these for electronic viewing out there?

I also knew nothing about the stores or catalogues. I did have a Falcon from them, which I orderedfrom what must have been a comics ad. I'm unsure now--after seeing this video--if it was Cadence or Heroes World. It would have been around the time HW was created.

I used to love the catalogs, but never knew the background.
