    Sleeping Bag O Rama

This selection of sleeping bags from 1979 really taps into the pop culture at the time, it's a mish-mosh of TV Properties and popular brands. I'd have gone for the Black Hole at the time, you?

Super Friends by a mile! It reuses the treasury comic cover by Alex Toth (with the pasted on Swan Superman face). But it's weird we're still seeing Wendy and Marvin in use by 1979.

I want to see that Spider-Man bag up close. Other than the main art, I can't tell what the other pieces are.

One of the images is definitely this classic cover from John Romita's first issue of ASM

There also looks to be images of Kraven and Electro too.

I had a SuperFriends bedspread--wish I still had it--that was very similar to that sleeping-bag but had extra characters.

Ugh. Of course. The electro one and the bottom right one still elude me.

I always wanted the Super Friends sleeping bag. My first sleeping bag was a heavy army surplus sleeping bag that my paternal grandparents gave all the grandkids one year for Christmas in the mid-Seventies. I hated that sleeping bag with a passion and never slept in it. It was okay to sleep on but not in it for it was hot and smelled. My second one was a blue-gray one that was a little bit better. My last one was lighter red one that I still have.

I had one of those. Kind of miss it now.
I worked really well. Not sure what ever happened to it. I probably wore it out.
