I have a surprise announcement for anyone who's interested...I recently restored and enhanced the Mattel Flash Gordon card back and turned it into an 11x17 print.
I'm going to do a small limited edition run printed on heavyweight card stock.
I also did some new art especially for this poster, and added Thun the Lion Man's long missing tail, which was always absent on the original art!
I painted the tail to match the original art style exactly, then composited it into the original art, matching the original print quality for a seamless effect.
If you would like to order a print they will be $30 shipped. They will come in an 11x17 plastic holder ready to hang.
This was a real labor of love and I'm so happy with how Thun's tail turned out! He looks so much better with it!
