    Star Wars Masks!

There was no way I was getting $40 for a mask in 1978 but I envied those who did.

Then envy me invisible moderator!! My mother not only bought me every mask on this page, but she also bought a second lot for my dog, Mr. Scrufflington. Of course, we had another set that I would make the help wear around when I wanted to play. (so what, I didn't have any friends. I would ultimately go on to make a true friend when my father paid Richard Pryor to be my toy, but that's another story.) And when I bored with these, Mother bought the left over costumes from the film production! Since I was friend-challenged, she also hired Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harison Ford to come over and act out the story in my playroom.

Then I woke up, drool having coated the inside of the Ben Cooper Darth Vader mask I had fallen asleep in.

Man, I wanted those so bad back in the late 70's.
But there was no way I was ever seeing that much money back then
