This is awesome. I don't remember ever seeing this ESB one... but I vividly remember the original Star Wars version. My grandma saved the article and for years we planned on making it. As a kid, it blew my mind that the figures were different colors. This one is much more accurate to the movie.

Yeah, I never saw the ESB one either.
But I have lots of memories of the SW one. I so wanted to try making some of that, but I never had enough figures to make the attempt. (at least that is the excuse my procrastinating butt used)

I think it was Woman's Day that also featured plans for a Superhero City that was in scale with 8-inch WGSH.

I remember my mom showing me this. I tried to make it but being 8 did not get very far on my own. I do remember getting the hanger door made though

I liked this one and the Dagobah one really was cool too.

That's great, I'm familiar with the other one but have never seen this one. It even has places to set your drinks, I was always scrambling for a place to put my cocktail while playing with my Star Wars guys.

Yep and a generic "Space city" for use with either Star Wars or Micronauts, they were both coll AF, as is this Hoth base.

This sort of thing (plus the previous Woman's Day 'Outer Space Station') was part of the experience of grown up during the original Star Wars Trilogy and the birth of the small action figure revolution. It shows that it was all still toys as apposed to 'collectibles'.

I bought the book that has the Mego Supercity and the 'Star Wars" space city, but the others were not included in the book.
