    Star Trek - Sulu
Robin Hood - Sheriff of Nottingham Forrest
Monsters - Creature from the Black Lagoon
Pirates - Pirate Playset with Giant Squid(okay, so maybe this is cheating) and I know Lesney did one. For a figure, maybe a British Admiral to fight the Pirates.

I also wish that Mego had bought the rights to Star Wars.

I doubt Mego would have put a Marvel character in their western line.

CBS would probably have had a problem with that.

  10. Just because I got up way too early today and am extremely bored, I tallied up the results for WGSH (broken down to DC & Marvel), The Mad Monster, Planet of the Apes, Star Trek, American West, Robin Hood, and Super Knights. Those that voted for more than one or "tie" were not counted and the only line they would have factored into was DC.

    Margin of error: +/- 100%

    WGSH: DC
    1. Green Lantern 11 votes (add 1 more for tie)
    2. Flash 10 votes (add 2 more for tie)
    3. Lex Luthor 9 votes (add 1 more for tie)
    4. Two-Face 2 votes (ironic)
    5. Bizarro, Mr. Freeze, and AE Diana Prince 1 vote

The top 3 vote getters did not surprise me. Mego fans were clamoring for them back in the 70s and apparently still are today.

    WGSH: Marvel
    1. Dr. Doom 10 votes (add 1 more for tie)
    2. Red Skull 4 votes
    3. Daredevil 3 votes (add 2 more for tie)
    4. Doc Ock, Rhino, Wolverine, and Hawkeye 2 votes
    5. Vision, Yellowjacket, Sub-Mariner, Silver Surfer, Nick Fury, AE Bruce Banner, Electro, Mandarin, Spider-Woman, and Nova 1 vote

No surprise in the top spot here.

    Mad Monsters
    1. Creature from the Black Lagoon 17 votes
    2. Phantom of the Opera 7 votes
    3. Invisible Man, Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Quasimodo 1 vote

    Again, no surprise here.

    Planet of the Apes
    1. Taylor 11 votes (add 2 more for tie)
    2. Nova 10 votes (add 1 more for tie)
    3. Mutant 2 votes
    4. Caesar, new Soldier Ape, General Aldo, Brent, and Kolp 1 vote

    The fans want more humans.

    Star Trek
    1. Sulu 11 votes (add 3 more for tie)
    2. Khan 8 votes
    3. Sarek and Harry Mudd 2 votes
    4. Commodore Decker, new Klingon, series accurate Gorn, Captain Pike, Nurse Chapel, Mirror Mirror Spock, and Orion Slave Girl 1 vote

I figured Sulu would be the winner. But I was quite surprised by the turnout for Khan. As a Trek fan back in the 70s and going into the 80s, Khan and "Space Seed" were rarely talked about in my area. It wasn't until it was announced that the second Trek movie was going to feature Khan, that he became a "big deal". I thought for sure Yeoman Rand or Nurse Chapel would have made second place.

    American West
    1. Jesse James 9 votes
    2. Doc Holiday 6 votes
    3. Billy the Kid 3 votes
    4. Bat Masterson 2 votes
    5. Crazy Horse, Daniel Boone, Annie Oakley, James West, and Rawhide Kid 1 vote

I had no clue how this was going to turn out. I guess Jesse James does make sense though.

    Robin Hood
    1. Sheriff of Notingham 13 votes (add 1 for tie)
    2. Prince John 4 votes
    3. Sir Guy of Gisbourne and Maid Marian 2 votes
    4. King Richard the Lionheart 1 vote

Much like DC, Marvel, Mad Monsters, and Star Trek, I wasn't surprised by the Sheriff getting the "win". His place in the legend of Robin Hood varies from top adversary to stumbling second fiddle but everyone knows his name.

    Super Knights
    1. Merlin 12 votes
    2. Guinevere 6 votes (add 1 for tie)
    3. Green Knight 2 votes
    4. Knight Templar, Sir Percival, Mordred, Morgan Le Fey, and a dragon 1 vote

Much like the American West line, I didn't know how this was going to turn out. I believe the 2 top vote receivers are the best choices.
