Legend is often misused, but not here. May light perpetual shine upon him.

AMC played "Ocean's 11", 12, and 13 just yesterday evening and I watched a bit of 13. Reiner as "Saul" playing "Kensington Chubb", the British hotel reviewer, was an enjoyable part of that movie. I was just thinking about how great and long-lived his career has been and now he's gone.

I just received his autograph in the mail 2 weeks ago! I am so glad I finally decided to try him again! You just never know when it is your time. Even though he was a very gracious through-the-mail signer, I am very grateful he took the time to send me an autographed picture!

On a side-note, he was the original choice to play Archie Bunker on "All in the Family." Obviously, he turned down the role. As great as Carroll O'Conner was, I always wondered what might have been!??!?!!

I loved hearing him in interviews almost as much as I enjoyed his work. I need to put together a watchlist

The Jerk remains my all time favourite comedy. Somebody hates these cans!

^Phone books are kind of a thing of the past, but we still get a local one every year, and I can't help but do that bit every time.

I just showed my daughter "The Jerk" for the first time, she was initially skeptical but she ended up really loving it.

If you're a fan of comedy you have to be a fan of Carl Reiner. So many incredible things over the years. Even his son is funny!

He lived a long, successful, life.

                              His works stand for themselves.
