    Inflatable Furniture!



    I know this fad totally failed but I absolutely want an inflatable living room, moving would be a snap and in the summers I can bring it to the lake!

      I think inflatable things remain incredibly intriguing, and I'm starting to think would be more comfortable than this damn IKEA sofa I had to build!

      Years ago I worked with an artist team who designed and fabricated inflatable rooms (continuous floor, ceiling, walls) with built in furniture (attached to floor and walls)… an instantaneous translucent environment. Some of them required that you get inside of the room prior to inflating, and then fire up the blower motor which forms the room around you and seals you inside. Boy in the bubble meets 21st C. housing solutions; wild fun!

        I liked the inflatable furniture.
        But it had the same problem things like air-mattresses have.
        They lose air over time.
