Lucky enough to be working from home this whole time. Doesn't seem like we're going back to the office anytime soon, especially with the number of cases spiking like crazy.

I of course want this all to be over, but I have LOVED working from home. I don't miss the hour commute both to and fro, and I enjoy getting to spend a lot more time with my family.

I'm hoping I can work something out to work at least a few days from home every week once this is all over.

It is a possibility that the new "norm" that emerges might make that possible for a lot of people. Remote work and many other paradigms were already in play and this event might be what hastens all kinds of different, and hopefully better, ways of getting things done.

It's really going to suck when the unemployment benefits start running out for folks, evictions start in earnest, etc. As bad as this year has been so far, I think we will be in for an even worse second half for many reasons that are all piling up into a perfect storm. *sigh* I hope I'm wrong and just being a pessimist, but logic tells me otherwise.

I've been working from home as well since around March 18th I think. We got put on a rotation schedule for our office. So 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, so it cuts the amount of people in half that are in the office. My first week back on that schedule was this past Monday, and I haven't missed the 1 1/2 drive one way each day at all. Myself and all of the guys I manage can totally do our jobs remotely, but they want our smiling faces at the corporate office it seems.

If people would just wear a mask, obey restrictions and ignore that d7wX&$9 in the white house we could get through this a lot faster.

                It’s very simple instructions,

                1. Wear a MASK in public.
                2. Stay (6) feet apart
                3. Wash and use hand Sanitizer regularly.

it seems only America doesn’t understand these easy simple instructions, since some countries still have there
boarders closed to the U.S. because the numbers are still increasing in some states.

^THIS. Thank you!! I'm busting my ***** at work caring for the elderly and disabled and trying protect my and my elderly parents' compromised health. But all I see are people who don't care enough to do any of the above when I buy necessary groceries. Just this morning, I'm trying to do the right thing and people are right up against me, oblivious.

I'm no hero, I just wish that people were a little more considerate.

The lack of any sense of consideration or civic duty exhibited by so many people is down right depressing and disheartening.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
