A soldier and two dead guys walk into a bar

I posted Deadman and Space Ghost in the newsletter but never made it back here with them I don't believe. The Unknown Soldier is new. I'm not blown away by how he turned out; there are some subtle things with his eyes I would have liked to have captured better, as well as battle wear to his clothes. That being said this is probably a similar amount of detail to what Mego would go with if he were ever a factory figure.

Rather than keep going back to my PC for reference as I work, I have started to put myself together cheat sheets for inspiration. All three of these are amalgamations of various artists' takes.

All three look fantastic, Steve. My son would be all over that Unknown Soldier, I'm especially digging that Deadman.
Stupid question maybe, but what body did you use?

Thanks for the compliments. I have a donor pile of 14" Zods, Jokers, and Luthors that I mostly use for these. I shim the waist to cure the flop before I dress them and paint or swap hands when needed. They're like 2018 Waltons:-)

I don't think I have ever seen an Unknown Soldier custom. That is fantastic! I love that you had the ripped sleeve and tried to give some wear to the uniform. The pristine uniform always bugged me on the Remco Sgt. Rock...

Great work. I got outbid on SP and Batman. Do you need 14" figures if I find them for under $6?

Great job on these. I am a big fan of all three characters.

Very Nice. Space Ghost is my favorite. I always wished that they would've made a MEGO action figure of him.
