Excellent actor!!!!! He did so many things. However, for me, he will always be best remembered as the android in "Alien." If not the best, certainly, that film is in the top 5 best sci-fi films of all-time. Very versatile actor. He was 88.

RIP to a talented character actor--Big Night, Greystoke, Lord of the Rings, such a range. I recall a wonderful turn he did as Hercule Poirot with Peggy Ashcroft as Agatha Christie.
