Does anyone know if Mego made a 8 inch Lex Luther action figure in 1974? I recently bought one. At first, I thought it was Lex Luther from the Superman II movie because he's in his prison outfit and looks a bit like Gene Hackman but then I looked on the back and it says it was made in 1974, way before that. Maybe there's another bald 8 inch action figure in a prison uniform that Mego made?

Is it a 1974 date for manufacture, or does that mean it was a 1974 copyright?

Mego did not make an eight inch Lex Luthor. It could be an excel toys Kodak head on a mego body.
