MOTU Origins Skeletor I has him. Comparison pics.

12 Back Skeletor and Origins Skeletor.

Very close in color to the 12 back Skeletor. Doesn't have the purple pants like the 8 back Skeletor as was shown in the promo shots. They also corrected the boot design and he no longer has purple on his lower legs. The sculpt of the Havoc staff is very similar. Not exact but very close. It's slightly longer. The sword is completely different. They have no trouble holding each other's accessories.

He appears taller because he can stand up straight do to the jointed knees. I like the laughing head. Nice nod to the cartoon. Best Skeletor ever.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

He fits the vintage Panthor perfectly.

Does not fit in Roton. He fits Landshark but cannot sit down all the way.

Nice and solid figure. Has some weight to it. Doesn't feel cheap. So soooooo much better quality than the Super7 retros. Doesn't feel like it will break just by gently posing it like the S7s. Sturdy figure meant to be played with. Just like the original toys.

I forgot to mention before he does come with a comic book.

With last years comic con Origins He-Man. He-Man is holding the power sword that came with the commemorative figure. The sword he came with is too big for his hand.

A few more things I forgot to mention. Skeletor's armor fastens in the back exactly like the vintage toy. You don't have to take him apart to get the armor off like with the comic con He-Man.

The mini comic story features Snake Mountain drawn like the vintage toy. It also features the Wind Raider and Shadow Beasts minions for Beastman. Like Faker, Battle Armor Skeletor, Roton, etc. on the Skysled box I don't know if they are hints or not of upcoming toys.

It's also kinda weird I haven't heard of anyone else getting Skeletor yet. I thought pics and reviews would be all over the place by now. Weird.

Here's the first page of the mini comic where you can see Snake Mountain.

The story revolves around them trying to kidnap Prince Adam to ransom him for the secrets of Grayskull. I believe all first series figures will come with the same "Beast Barrage" mini comic.

I don't like the paint on the face, but looks nice. Skeletor face paint has always been a bit of a mixed bag. This line is a winner all around.

These popped up very very VERY briefly online. But for US folks, Walmart will have them soon enough online and in store. Give it a few weeks.
