    Galactica Gourds...

Does anybody sculpt or has cast Battlestar Galactica heads for 8 inch Mego figures (I'm trying to find Starbuck and Apollo heads, really)? Maybe shrinks of the 12 inch or casts/partial shrinks of the 8 inch figures or something? I don't know, I just thought I'd ask?

    Best,

    Dana

I think Austin might have those.
I know some folks here made some and made kits. I still have the uniform and helmet kit. Never got the heads.

Oh, you have the helmets, Ed? How about the colonial blasters? I'll check with Austin about heads.

The BBP figures, once you shrink them in Naphtha, are really pretty good.

Yeah, but the Starbuck and Apollo are very difficult to get a hold at a reasonable price, Sprytel.

I just looked at prices online. Wow... I had no idea. I remember these being on clearance on the Entertainment Earth site for a long time...

In fact, it seems like the secondary market has been kind to many of the BBP figures.

Yes, now that I know about naphtha, I truly regret not collecting Battlestar Galactica. You are right about appreciation, glad I have TZ and Ventures sets.

Hi Ed, you have helmet kits?

                  I guess that's a no, Ed?

Austin doesn't have Galactica heads, so I'm out of luck there. I'm surprised nobody is making 3D models and printing them in 1/9 scale yet (and Boomer, Jolly, Sheba, etc...), but I can't find them anywhere. I've even looked for close substitutes that I could customize (male heads with longer hair, but even those are hard to find with the right hairstyle).
