    Gordon Freeman, from Half Life

    "Prepare for unforeseen consequences..."

    Hey everyone!

Recently, I have been documenting the process of the creation of my custom 8-inch Gordon Freeman, the protagonist of the Half Life video game series!
For those interested in all of the details, the WIP thread can be found here: http://megomuseum.com/community/show...from-Half-Life

Gordon features another 3D-printed head and a pair of black-rimmed glasses from CTVT (the same used for the Batman 66 Alfred figure, if I'm not mistaken).
His HEV suit was made entirely from craft foam that was hot glued to a handmade black bodysuit. After several layers of Mod Podge, simple acrylic and metallic enamel paints were applied.

Gordon's suit also has a few stickers to represent some of the graphics and panels on his HEV suit that I felt were best not painted on by hand ; these were designed in Adobe Illustrator.

He also includes his trademark crowbar, which was ripped from the PS2 port of Half Life and 3D-printed.

I am incredibly happy with how this figure has turned out, as it's been on my hit list ever since I learned about Mego customizing!
I would love to make other characters in the Half Life series and, as always, feedback is very much appreciated!

    Thanks for checking him out!

Don't know the video game, but that suit looks awesome

I'm always amazed by those of you who can work this craft foam into such good illusion.

Not familiar with the character/game, but definitely looks like a labor of love on that outfit.
