Hi guys...
here in Italy, COVID created a long lockdown and I used my spare time for an idea: create a Mego Spectreman custom.
I loved the one saw here but I found it not strictly as a 70's Megos. I own all the Megos arrived in Italy thanks to Baravelli, with the T1 body and I started, for my project, from a T1 body without head that I found in an old box of my child toys.
But...how to create the head? I saw many people used a lot of materials perfect for this work but, when I was child, my dad teach me how to carve wood with a simple boxcutter for to help me to create by myself some little toys.
Since I was 15 I hadn't done anything carving wood and it was hard to come back to do it, but "never say never" and I decided to try it.
Started with a little piece of wood of my tree, I created the head, painted it and when I reached the end I bought some stuffs in USA that let me complete the Spectreman figure in pure 70's stylish.
A simple yellow suit with brown vest, boots and gloves and a belt that could look like the real one.
This is mine Spectreman! I understand that I could have done it better, but ...another time I'll try it!
Thanks for the attention.
