Imagine of there was a table waaaaay in the back, where women were were slapping together random, left over bits, then putting them into clear plastic bags and sealing them up with stapled cardboard headers. That would explain a lot about the discount figures later discovered in pharmacies and pound shops.

Aaaahh, if it were only so simple.

To extrapolate on this, there had to be a reject pile of heads, boots and outfits somewhere in there. I have no doubt that Mego or Lion Rock wanted that stuff to see distribution but here we are.

Colorized. Not an easy one with the white jackets, pillars and tables.

It’s tough to see which figures are on the table and in the basket, I don’t think there all a Starsky and Hutch, anyone care to guess?

I've always wondered what those factories looked like. Awesome pic!

That is freakin' AWESOME!!! Is that a Lion Rock logo on there as well? I assume this is the factory they bought in the late 70's (vs the one they contracted with for many years). Are there any more pictures, inside or out? I'm all a-titter!

One last thing- I realize this is the wrong country, but this picture looks like a giant kaiju foot could come crashing down at any moment.

A look behind the curtain. Not the party I mentally pictured.
Thank you so much for sharing this photo for all of us to enjoy!
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.
