The Phantom: The Ghost Who Walks

As much as I like the standard global versions of The Phantom, I've always wondered why a black suit version never was envisioned. Guess it was up to me to make that version which I really do love. Second being the blue version. Enjoy!

    • Head: Purchased from Castaway(Thank you!) that I converted to ball joint swivel. Paints by me.
    • Body: Torso from LonnieFisher (Thank you!) that is rotocasted. Arms are swivel Castaway with pelvis from BossArts(Bryan) and legs/feet being original Mego. Hands are Castaway Phantom ring hands.
    • Clothes: Suite from Castaway and trunks from Castaway Phantom that had to be modified.
    • Accessories: Boots are Castaway hero boots and guns from Castaway. Belt and holsters were made by me with real leather. Buckle made by me. Throne from former Museum member, who's name escapes me. He made a limited number and turned out beautiful!

That DC GA head is another one of those gifts that keeps on giving. I definitely love the B&W treatment

Is that where Jason got it? I thought it looked familiar.

I thought they shrunk a Flash Gordon head...

...I should explain. Flash Gordon is to most of us, what Flesh Gordon is to you Mr Moore...

Jason didn't do it, but the head is a reworked GA 9" that's been around for a while. I made this one so long ago that I can't even remember when.

Ahhh. Thank you for the clarification. I will update the description. BTW, great job on the custom. I really like this sculpt over the Castaway version.

I found it - rework was by Mr. Cory Cood, probably for a Notdolls or Cast-A-Way project. I miss his work

I like it. I expect the next time they make a Phantom movie, he'll look more like this.
