    Awesome thread. Everyone covered some of my favorites. I love the ones that look like paintings. Lone Ranger, GI JOE, Knievel, SMDM, old car model boxes. I also prefer boxes that you can take the toys in and out of versus plastic bubbles.

      I have always been fascinated by this art from the Mego Enterprise playset. It was well done yet quirky... why did Kirk look like Charlton Heston? is that supposed to be a lightsaber or is that a deep cut reference to Day of the Dove? I spent a lot of time contemplating its many mysteries...

          I love the Ken Kelly Micronauts box/card art, and the Grey Morrow Mad Monster boxes. And the Star Wars group painting on the Kenner 12-backs and early bird set is iconic and hugely nostalgic for me.

                  I like the Godzilla on that Tricephelon play set box, it seems to be based on the Marvel comics Godzilla.
