    8" Flash Gordon set

Now that these are well in progress, I'm moving the discussion here. So in the beginning, I was going for the original Mego design in a 1/9th scale. The earlier pics show Flash and Zarkov with bandolier belts. When the outfit designs change so much from the Mego design, I didn't realize at first that this accessory was unnecessary. With out the gun holster and sword sheath it only detracted from the outfits. Progress pics to-date:

Beautiful set of customs, I would love to see new mego come out with Flash Gordon figures.

Dale now has a head piece and small sword. She is all ready to join Flash and Zarkov. I would like the thank PNGwynne for the advice on looking for yellow vinyl dividers. Found Dollar Tree art molds made in yellow plastic. Enough flat surface area to cut many head pieces. Back fits together like the Mego plastic belts with an arrow and a hole.

They are only getting better and better! Love the re-purposing fabrication approach.

I'd love to see these hanging on a peg somewhere with a pricetag

I have a EMCE repro Klingon head. It's seems to be hard enough to customize. Want to smooth down hair and make it into a fin helmet. Making the fin like the one on Dr. Fate's helmet. Thinking yellow or gold for the helmet and a red fin on top. Ideas?

I think what you're describing sounds perfect and I'd go with a yellow helmet--more Megoesque IMO.

    You're welcome regarding the dividers.

Confessional; Thank you, I luv parts bashing and fabrication, just as much as using my own custom parts.
EMCE Hammer; I don't call them 'Dino's Dime-Store Dollies' for nothing.
PNGwynne; Just keep the good advice coming. It really helps. Big Huge Thanks.
