    Plaid Stallions We're all radios

I had a "Little Sprout" AM Radio from Jolly Green Giant as a kid, I have no idea why or where it came from.

I can't see "Love is..." without hearing Homer Simpson's explanation in my head.

A Holly Hobbie radio seems especially anachronistic, doesn't it? I have seen the Raggedy Ann radio in person before, at a local Raggedy Ann festival my town used to have.

That doll radio is kind of disturbing. Turn it to a death metal station and you have an 90s direct-to-video slasher series ready to go.

My childhood radio was the GE AM UFO.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I just had a generic portable AM radio, apparently my parents didn't love me enough to buy me a character based radio (I desperately wanted the KISS radio).

I remember most of those from a variety of similar catalogue pages.
Never owned any of them... the AM radio I had as a kid was a Galactica one shaped like a Cylon's head.

I had the Raggedy Ann and Andy radio. I really don’t remember if it worked well or not.

I forgot about that entire "Love is..." series. My mother used to have a couple of those genital-less little statues around. Pure 70's!

My older sister had 3 popcorn sculptures of the Love Is naked people. I never understood the appeal. It's like Ziggy for couples who don't like clothes...
