May I start by saying how thrilled we are to have you here. We are such fans of your music and all of your records. I'm not speaking of yours personally, but the whole genre of the rock and roll.

      RIP

He was rhe master of deadpan cluelessness. He came to my theatres twice to promote movies he was in. He was very polite and posed for pictures with people. He was very nice but kind of quiet, but when it came time to get on the mic to answer questions, it’s like a light switch turned on.

Really sad to hear this. I always loved to see him pop up no matter what.

He was always "Fred Willard" in every role he was in, and that's all everyone wanted from him, because he was so great at it. RIP.

One of his most memorable roles for me was in Salem's Lot.

Best in Show was the only movie I saw in a Theater that had me laughing so hard I was crying. He was a big part of that.

I never truly understood how funny he was until the Guest films, he really was kind of brilliant.

He and Bob Newhart we're always pretty close in terms of persona in my head. Same age, same stammering shtick. Both really funny. You could see Fred was struggling during his last outing as Phil's dad in Modern Family. But even then, he was still funny. He had a great run.
