    First Look! Mego Hannibal Lecter

So we have a double bit of goodness today, first, Mego is producing an 8″ Dr. Hannibal Lecter from “The Silence of the Lambs” and it will be another addition to their growing line of horror characters, also, thanks to our friends at Mego Corp, we’ve got a sneak peek at the head sculpt.  …

Looks very nice. If it’s the gateway to a Buffalo Bill, I’m in.

Really nice sculpt. Is that Andy's handiwork?

Not me. I don’t know who did this one except that Paul posted he was an artist from Mexico.

Looks a bit like Frank Gorshin but this could be interesting. The mask will be the most important part.

Hes looking great, certainly a original character to have, the mask will finish him off nicely.

Personally I'm not too keen on the subject matter, and I actually think the sculpt is too realistic for a Mego. It looks like a NECA figure IMO.

I'm not sure if that's the direction Mego is headed or not. I think their Dracula, Nosferatu, and TWOK figures strike that perfect balance between realism and simple Mego charm.

Wow, great sculpt. I think once it's seen in the squishy headed medium, it will "Mego up" a bit.

You can also do Don Diego customs from The Mask of Zorro with this!

I think I know the dude, if it's the same guy I'm thinking of (and it looks like his work) he did the Kwai Chang Caine head I used for my custom.

Oh yeah, I remember that guys Caine sculpt and he did a really nice Columbo sculpt as well. I can’t remember his name however.

Not sculpt...not sure why anyone would want to own a Mego of this. Well, except maybe to make a custom Odin.
