    Did anyone watch this?

The first one called Gray Matter had some cool actors including Adrienne Barbeau, Giancarlo Esposito & Tobin Bell, but the story was a little flat I thought.

The second one House of the Head was pretty cool I thought.

This is a show on Shudder (which is owned by AMC so I guess they're porting it over to AMC) but it's pretty solid. Some of the episodes are so-so, but there's a couple of fun ones in there. House of the Head is one of the best, simple, creepy, effective.

the preview said Sept. 2019. was this delayed or is just that AMC is now showing it too? if so I wonder if it is edited down for AMC

My understanding it aired on Shudder first and AMC has pulled it over to show on broadcast TV. I think there's a season 2 coming to Shudder soon.

            Caught it last night...LOVED IT!

I'm a little puzzled by the show's into though.
They start with a really cool animatronic "Creep" puppet for the intro, but then switch to a terrible CGI version, then they use the puppet again at the end of the episode. Weird.

I agree, the intro and "outro" was the odd thing about the show. The second part of the episode I really enjoyed.

I'm a cheapskate or I would have already subscribed to Shudder...

I'm curious if they edited the episodes for AMC though. I'm not familiar with shudder, but it seems to me most streaming channels can get a little more risqué then cable TV does

Just watched the first 2 episodes (4 stories)

Stories seemed ok but endings were awful … Does any of the writers know these kinds of stories should have a clever ending ?

Even the Creep himself never has anything clever to say … He comes off as a mute Crypt Keeper ripoff

I want to like the show because I like both movies, but the stories (so far) are very uninspired and predictable

I agree that the endings are pretty lame.

I saw the first few episodes several weeks ago on AMC. the episodes were mediocre -- at best! Seeing Adrienne Barbeau & Tobin Bell was nice (from a sentimental aspect). Otherwise, it was a truly forgettable episode!

The show has high production values but really could use better writing.

I finally got to watch the shows from the past two weeks. I liked them overall. The All Hallows Eve episode was good and I liked the Scarecrow one. I would agree, production is high quality, but each seems to reach a point where they have to make a choice to end it. I wonder if these were an hour long each per segment it might be better.
