Mysterio Comic Version Custom Mego 8" Action Figure. First off, you can't imagine that what was supposed to be a simple upgrade became one of the hardest and time consuming customs. I started with an purchased Mysterio custom made by Brian L from another collector which only the bodysuit now remains. I wanted to upgrade the dome head, the eyes, the gauntlets, the boots and the cape. The head was a soft white vinyl ball but I wanted it clear so I used a clear acrylic ball that I had seen done with a custom in the Mego museum. The eyes and gauntlets I wanted them to be 3D printed so I sought out the wizard namely, Paul Wasson. He delivered on design. So the eyes and gauntlets are 3D printed. The cape is a Marvel Legends custom cape (like my Dr Doom) The bodysuit was made by Brian L. The hands and boots are from CTVT. The body is a mix of vintage Mego and FTC. The eyes are held on with fabric snaps. The round part is sewn onto the cape while the flat part of the snap is glued to the back of the eye so I can adjust or remove the eyes if I want.
