I'm sort of in the same boat you're in.

I've had to sell most of my cherished collectables to pay for medical expenses.

I'm currently in home hospice care so I guess I won't be missing them for much longer anyway.
I have no idea how to respond to this other than to say I am so very sorry. Thank you for sharing

I shouldn't have posted this on your thread. I apologize.

I do appreciate your kind reply.

I'm responding well to my current course of treatments and medicine.

      Hope springs eternal.

!!! GO, there are no proper words for such things, but the fact that you are here communicating/sharing… well, that's generous of you. I say hijack-on or even start a thread if you want to continue. Life is incredibly fragile for everyone; they just don't realize it.

Thank you, Confessional. I'm not even sure why I posted my health condition here. None of my closest online friends even know, people I've known for twenty-years. I'm a fairly private person who has a difficult time sharing personal details of my life.

I love this forum. I've been posting here since the RTM days, nearly 20 years ago. I'm not the most active poster here, but I read the forums here every day without fail. I've enjoyed seeing the collections of others here and reading their comments and opinions.

I've learned so much over the years. I'm not a social media guy, I like old fashion message boards like the MM. The people who run this place are top notch, and the members here are among the nicest and most knowledgable folks I know.

Thank you all for your kind words, thoughts and prayers. It is very much appreciated.

              Darryl

Please do not apologize. I applaud you for being brave enough to share with all of us. What you are going through is horrible but here you are among friends. If there is ever anything I can do please just ask. There is no possible way I could have made it where I am now without friends and family that cared enough to listen and help. This thread is officially hi-jacked and you have done so with my blessings.
