My own personal Mount Rushmore would be Eddie Van Halen, Slash, Keith Richards, and Jimi Hendrix.

Pretty hard to pick a personal Mt. Rushmore... I guess I'd go Hendrix by default, Mick Ronson, Ace Frehley and prob Prince in that 4th spot. So hard to narrow down to 4. My choices aren't based purely on skill, etc., but the amount of joy each has given me in life from childhood to now.

You might be right. Roy Clark could flawlessly play classical guitar, country music, Latin music, bluegrass, pop, etc.

                Praising Roy Clark...

Let’s add Glen Campbell and Jerry Garcia to this list...

Wow, very little love for Jeff Beck here!! He's definitely at the top of the mountain for me. Hughie Thomasson of The Outlaws has to be there - Green Grass and High Tides is a masterpiece of guitar work. Gotta give some love to Joe Walsh and of course, can't forget Eddie Van Halen.
