Losing a few weeks sales may kill some publishers. May push some to go fully digital.

From what I have seen most of them are closed due to the virus. I moved to digital awhile its easier to read on a tablet. Soon I will be unloading my comic books on ebay to make room my for Megos

I hadn’t been in a comic book shop in years, but when the Big Two started releasing these facsimile editions and reprints of key comic books, I started a folder last year at our local shop and spend around thirty or forty bucks a month there now. It’s nice to have some reader copies that I can share with my grandson in a few years!

yes I look forward to those facsimile and dollar comics every week more than the regular releases.

Yeah, the DC Dollar Comics and Marvel True Believer reprint editions are the highlight of my weekly visit to the comic store these days, too.

The comics industry has done everything it could to make itself extinct and a whole month (in some cases) of non-consumers is the final nail in the coffin.

It's sad because comic buyers are the most loyal fan base in the world. They pay $4 or $5 monthly for books they haven't enjoyed in years to keep local shops in business.

Yeah, I hate to be negative, but this could very well be the final nail in the comic industry as we know it, and many, many comic book shops.
