Recently acquired this magnificent model of King Kong.
Great likeness to the original Willis O Brian Kong.
One of my all time favourite films, along with The Night of the Demon.

Those are pretty amazing. Everything about that Demon makes me instinctively want to run away!

"It's in the trees, it's coming"

Lucky to have the actual signature of the producer, Hal E Chester, Peggy Cummins, Dana Andrews and Maurice Denham.

There was controversy about acctually depicting the demon in the film, but let's be honest: he doesn't disappoint.

If you love Night of The Demon, I recommend that you pick up the recently released Blue Ray special edition.15842244802051711364188628393482.jpg

Also a "must have", the fabulous book by Tony Earnshaw:

Love the Kong set-up!… what the origin, licensed or garage kit?

A garage kit, from the late 1990's.

It is a 1:6 scale Garage Model Kit, diorama, professionally painted to a very high standard by David Kefford, who is a professional model maker. He did this one in 2003, it is signed by him underneath the base.

David Kefford builds paints and sculpts private commissions for collectors and has been doing so for the last 25 years.

Many thanks for your comments. Here are a few more pictures. Also added a couple of minature trees to the background. I have also taken some shots in glorious black and white.
