    Amazing work on that Viper.
And even a pilot's helmet, too!
    Fantastic.

5 minutes of an amazing custom. Could have done without the other 15 minutes.

It would be cool to see the cylon raider as well, tho it would be difficult to get a Mattel cylon to sit down in a cockpit.

Posted here in spite of those minutes, not because of them. It's just a really cool toy.

Man, I am soooo close to pulling the trigger on one. But looking at closeup pics, it does have those tell tale textures of 3D printing. Not to take away from this monumental achievement which the customizer should be proud of, but I'm struggling. I mean, it looks amazing from far away. I didn't watch the entire 20 minute Retroblasting video.... does he address these surface details?

You can see the 3D printing in the surface of the canopy and the fuselage.

That is awesome. I would love to get one, but I'm sure it not cheap. I really like how it is a replica of the original toy only scaled up to fit the figures. on the other hand, the Viper itself is a simple design, shape wise.
I have built one to scale for myself with stuff from the dollar store, if you are on a budget. I would still love to be able to get the one above, always bothered by not having a ship scaled to the figures.

That's pretty cool. I wish somebody was doing this for the unproduced LJN Advanced Dungeons & Dragons figure line stuff from the 80s.
