If you know me, I'm a fan of Black Vulcan (even more so than his inspiration Black Lightning.) I wanted to know how many times he says his adorable catchphrase, "Great Lightning!" in the Super Friends series. The reason being I'm going to put together a compilation of how many times he says it to further prove the point he was the most surprised member of the SF (besides Robin, of course.)
So far, I have...
-"The World's Deadliest Game" when he sees the Toyman's pinball trap (this might be the first time he used the catchphrase)
-"The Voodoo Vampire" when Batman and Robin are turned into vampires (this one is extra hilarious because of his wide eyes and how he just... moves from side to side as he says it)
-Twice in "The Killer Machines"; first time being when he, Batman, and Robin are trapped by the robot, and the second time being when the robot freezes him
-"Terror on the Titanic" ("Great Lightning, it's the divers!")
-"The Malusian Blob" when some of the blob gets on his suit ("Great Lightning, it's eating through my suit!")
Do you have enough time to go through your Super Friends DVDs and watch the rest of the episodes he appeared in to look for any more instances? (If it helps, here are his appearances. I've already seen the first two, and he doesn't say it in there; instead, he shouts his name similar to Space Ghost and Birdman.)
