    Annual Reminder

One of the major responsibilities of the PlaidStallions Institute is to serve as a reminder that shag carpeting and toilets were once combined, we must ensure that this never, ever looks like a good idea again. Carry this grim reminder with you, my friends and share with everyone you know.

Don't forget to join our new facebook group.

I think "C" may be a cut scene from Creepshow's "The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill".

I have been in a house recently that has carpet all over his house (kitchen, bathrooms. etc). I asked why and he said he hates to mop so he put carpet all over.

You know, I will say I remember my next door neighbor had a plush restroom when we were kids, and before I was at an age to worry about germs, it was rather cozy and comfortable. And when it's not your house, aim is of no concern.

Grandma J's dimly lit den of respite was decked out in 763… suspension of free-pee belief.

I wouldn't admit this to strangers, but... Sadly, there is a part of me that is still 5 years old and thinks this is super classy.

I clean my own bathroom. I couldn't tolerate either bathroom plush or carpet in a kitchen, disgusting.

You have to look at this way, would rather step onto this getting out of the shower on a really cold winter day or a bare floor?

Oh I have those rugs they sell at Wal-Mart for my bathroom. I have no carpet in my house (it came that way) so when the temperature drops those floors get cold. I have one in front of my walk-in shower (to keep from slipping) one in front but at a distance of my toilet. There is nothing like getting up in the middle of the night and having walk into a cold floor of my bathroom. For that matter I have a nice fluffy one by my bed where I stand when I get out of bed.

Then again I am a country boy at heart and walk around barefeet both outside and inside so yeah the floors get cold. My boyfriend runs around with those socks with the texture on the bottom so he doesn't notice the cold as much.
