Slow cookers suck. They stink up the house. The best method is to use a pressure cooker. Same result...but instead of waiting all day...it’s done in 30-40 minutes, lol.

My wife conjured up a crazy good pot roast in one of those shiny Instapots. She also makes godhead *sauce* in a old school pressure cooker.

I'm old-school, I start on the stovetop in a dutch oven and transfer into the oven. Same for swiss steak.

I went dutch oven, too. Gave that roast a real good sear on all sides on the stovetop before it went in the oven.

Oh, not only is Amazon Prime’s The Boys better than HBO’s Watchmen, but so is Netflix Umbrella Academy as well.

I am the worst slow cooker. Every meat whether it be beef or chicken, gets all dried up and stringy.

I could go for a good brisket. Anyone use a pressure cooker or insta pot for that?

When yous make stew in the slow cooker do you flour and fry the beef cubes first ?

Funny you should ask. Sunday I made beef stew in my slow cooker (first time in like 5 years lol) and the recipe called for flour, but had none.

So I just threw the beef in there with everything else and it turned out really good
