        "Mmm....Pot Roast."

Loves me some Pot Roast. Decided I was going to make one on Thursday, though I never made one before. Found a basic recipe that called for Onions, Carrots, Rosemary and Thyme to accompany the Chuck Roast. I decided to add whole Mushrooms and Artichoke Hearts to the mix. Turned out great, but I over estimated my prep skills and the 3 lb. Chuck equaled a 3 hour roast time, so we ended up eating at 9:15 p.m. Still a damn good meal. Nice post Hec!

This thread isn't a mistake, it's an Opportunity-stake! We can guess what Hector's thread might have been about. Or it can be about Pot Roast recipes. Anything is possible, as long as you can "Imagineer" it!

After a day in the slow cooker, it was good but not great. I don't have the wife's touch it seems.

Pot Roast... One of my all time favorite meals... I was just thinking last night how I hadn't had it in quite awhile... Looks like we'll be putting the slow cooker to work this week

I've never made a stew, that's the wife's forte. More of the Chili guy.

I never use a crock pot. I think stuff comes out mushy and all tasting bland and the same. I just get out a big stew pot.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
