yeah they remind me of those awful Total Justice where they look liked they were skinned showing every muscle.
I had one collector pay my to redo them and add that missing layer of skin to the figures. They look so much better.

^DOTE Phantom was a bit sanitized, and simplified in design. IIRC he had Vixen-like animal-channeling abilities and a Batmanesque array of gadgets.

I know. I have the original Galoob figures and TV show DVDs.
That show and those figures were made for little kids. I sort of understand those not having guns in the age of political correctness, but this is an adult collectible. The Phantom without a holster and guns is like Superman without his cape. It just doesn't look right.

I liked the character designs of Defenders of the Earth but didn't care for the cartoon. Killing off Dale and turning her psyche into a computer AI, yeah, I wasn't crazy about that.
