    Toy spotting

    Hello All,
Here is a thread I hope becomes a interesting Drop site and discussion point for our Group!
There other Posts here that feature Know and maybe Unknown toys featured in TV and Movies. I am hoping this becomes the One Stop Repository for these images.
Starting with LAND OF THE GIANTS. Episode "A Small War" Episode aired 22 February 1970.

    A_Small_War-20200209075654.jpg

Simple plot. Giant boy mistakes the Little People for toys and wages play war on them. Episode features several toys that maybe "Off the Shelve" toys from that time period???

    A_Small_War-20200209073048.jpg
Could this be a GI Joe vehicle??? Or from some other toyline of the time.

    A_Small_War-20200209075532.jpg
I was hoping this was an Action Jackson but the head is too small. In the episode the figure looks to be 5-6 inches tall. Maybe a custom made item.

What War storyline would be complete without the good ol' Jeep. Tonka??? Ertl???

Well I hope this interest you and maybe starts some conversation.

I had to google Topper Tiger, but from what I saw, the hands looked different.

        Hi Bri.
Are you referring to the Action figure or the Tank???
Topper Tigers were about 6" though and would fit the size of figure shown. But didn't they have vehicle playsets too.

The figure it looks like the character "The Rock" whose hands are different than some of the other characters. They've painted them black mind you.

Debbie Harry was my first girlfriend. She just didn't know it.

Pretty sure those belonged to Chris Stein, they are in background of candid party shots as well.

I always got a kick out of the meta appearance of SMDM toys so obviously placed in the background of the episode, "A Bionic Christmas."

                    WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.

A few years ago, I remember seeing a pic of Debbie Harry standing on a balcony of a New York hotel, she was in town giving a concert, the pic was from around mid 1970's, and I could swear she was holding a Mego action figure.

The pic was in an entertainment section of my local Sunday paper, the object in her hand of course was faded, I used
one of those eye piece enlargers and although it was still hard to identify, it definitely had a cape, she was holding it
over a ledge, the pic was in black & white, but to me it looked like Robin, I wish there was a way I could somehow
find this pic and in color, the curiosity in me wants to know, but I do think it was a Mego Robin.

One of the episodes of Schooled, the Goldbergs spin-off, didn't have just a toy in it, it recreated my favorite toy store of my youth- Kiddie City (what Lionel called their Playworld stores in the Philly area).

Would Castle Grayskull, Trypticon and Shogun Warriors still be on the shelves in 93 when Beanie Babies started?
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

TV toystores often blur the lines like that, reminds me of this episode of Fringe.
