My Dad loves his movies. His favourite movie of all time is Lonely are the Brave and I grew up watching this, Man without a Star and others.
Always liked Kirk. A genuine tough guy too.

I'll bet TCM will air a marathon of his movies, but I do know he did lead a controversial off screen life.

he had a great, long life. I know there are some shady stories about him but take those with a grain of salt. some may be true some not. either way I always liked his movies. He is basically the last of his era of leading men actorsComment
