    Power Glove

I read this interesting article about the Power Glove for the NES, which Marty Abrams had a hand in bringing to market (pun intended). I thought others might enjoy it:

The creators of a short-lived pioneer in virtual reality gaming share how the Power Glove came to be and why it fell short of expectations.

The Power Glove helped fuel my life long hatred of motion control. It was expensive, frustrating to use and did not work.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Did they use to use that thing for operating motion control as well?

Cool! Thanks for sharing. I was 100% Atari at that time, so no Power Glove for me.

The glove does help you land the plane in Top Gun, according to the AVGN.
