My final hours with our dog.

Very sorry to hear this. Putting down a pet is a gut wrenching experience. You suffer so your pet won't.
You are transparent; I see many things... I see plans within plans.

I'm sorry to hear that. I know how bad that hurts. It's hard right now but try to focus on all the good times you've had with him. 18 years is a long and happy life.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Very sorry to hear this. I've had to do it a few times, and it never gets any easier. But you are doing right by your friend.

sorry about that, it sucks but you got 18 years with the dog. I've got one that's 16 and he's going to be due for the same soon.

You have my sympathies, T. I only had my dog for four years, but it seemed like longer.

I’m not going to give you a bunch of empty platitudes, I don’t believe in them.

Give my regards to your family, and some day you’ll be ready for another dog.

He went peacefully in our living room on his bed. It was nice. I tickled his chin just the way he liked as he went off. His pain is over.

I'm sorry for your loss. In a way it was nice that your dog didn't have to go to the vet, and could be in familiar surroundings in the comfort of his home.

While you can be thankful for the time that you had, it doesn't make it any easier to say goodbye. I am so sorry for your loss.
