That would have worked, she looked very much like Ivy. Great idea and great figure!

She would have made a great Poison Ivy... as evidenced by your amazing figure. I could totally see them doing the costume like that.

I wonder why she was never on the Batman TV show.

Poor timing, I think. By the time the producers might have been made aware of her first comics appearance (March 1966), contacts were set and the show format would soon become calcified.

It's interesting that Marsha, Siren, and Louie the Lilac have traits in common with Ivy, though.

they still could have brought her in 67-68 tho.

Yes of course, but with the series rolling and roles being created for guest stars rather than pulled from the comics like when the series was in development, I can see how Ivy was overlooked. And it's not like, in '67, the character had a track record. Heck, the Cavalier had more appearances. I'm just speculating, but your vision of extrapolating casting is so much fun.

Margret might be perfect casting in retrospect, but she was likely too great a star to ever appear in Batman as more than a window cameo. She was in four movies in '66 alone.

I have wondered if the Louie the Lilac episodes were reworked Poison Ivy ones when they needed something for Uncle Miltie. Dang forgot the Cavalier, now who could play him? I have Professor Pyg cast already. Supposedly Freddy the Fence was being tossed around as a villain too.

Louie and Nora Clavicle are definate cross-pollination from other ABC shows at the time, just like using Maurice Evans (Bewitched), Jones & Astin (fresh from Addams family and likely still under contract.)

Had he not been Egghead (blasphemy!), Price would have made a wonderful Cavalier. Minstrel is an awfully good riff on the concept.

maybe somebody unassuming like Dick York for Cavalier.

It could be that the save money from leasing villains from DC Comics the show began to create there own by swapping out the character traits with new villains.

In retrospect (and this is key), she was never in anything that got played after school everyday for 20+ years, like "Batman" did. But who the heck could have known that in '66 when she was on top of the World and "Batman" was what it was but not yet what it would be.
