Yeah I sincerely dislike 2. From what I've heard, the first film's toy rights are hard to negotiate for some reason. It seems easier to get 2. This is sort of the same reason we don't get many "Army of Darkness" items these days but lots of "Evil Dead 2".

I want all three of these. I love these movies and find any Myers 8 inch figures hard to pass up. They look great, especially Loomis.

I guess because I saw them back to back as a kid, I just lump Halloween 2 right in with the first one. I know that's not a popular opinion nowadays, but I still like it.

I like it too. They get a lot right with HII, like Dean Cundey's cinematography.

Well, I guess I’ll grt both then.

The thing with Halloween II is that it’s technically well made, but I never loved the whole he’s her brother thing and I really didn’t like the need to up the gore just to keep up with Friday the 13th. But the thing I liked the least was the characters. What separates Halloween, for me, is you actually like most of the kids, esclpecially Annie, so it has impact when they die. In HII, all the victims are random and frequently unlikeable people. It borrowed too much from lesser slashers where you are kind of supposed to enjoy the kills.
