    Star Wars at Simpson's



    We had to drive a bit to get to a Simpson's store growing up but their catalogs and robust toy sections will forever be etched into some happy childhood memories. I fondly remember browsing that section in the early 1980s, they also had some really cool stuff on clearance when I was in college, I miss them.




    Thee three packs seem to be a big deal in the collector market these days.

    I never remember seeing the three packs in any retail store

    Just on the later secondary market

      Everything Kenner Star Wars is expensive right now. A loose mint Leia is going for same price as mego Thor.

          What a great photo! You almost can't tell where the Hoth playset ends. I love the planet Saturn in the background also.

            I never knew Luke took on Death Star Droids on top of a Sandcrawler. Must be a deleted scene!
