    How to cut level boots

I mostly use superhero boots from CTVT and I cut them down. Used this technique for my Fantastic Four white set. I used it for Doc Ock boots and many others. I use I believe it's a 2 inch Husky brand pipe cutter with quick release and a 5/8 wooden dowel. I slide the boot over the dowel then cut below the trim at the top of the boot.

Simply just spin a few times - tighten - spin a few more - tighten. About 30 spins in all

Here's a pic of how I cut level boots

Very nice, who knew? I've been using warm water and kitchen shears.

I also use this method for bracelets and gauntlets. I wear out a cheap Harbor Freight tool every couple of years.

Awesome! I always just measure, use frog tape to wrap around the boot to mark, then dip it in boiling water for about 6-10 minutes.Cut with a new blade exacto.
Have to stop in harbor freight and look for one of these now.
