Toy-Ventures: Planet of the Apes Display!

This week we take a look into my place and the new Planet of the Apes display case I put together.

Most of the stuff I haven't discussed prior to this including some cool AHI rack toys, Mego figures from Mexico and Japan, Super 8 movies and model kits.

Oh the glory! Dedicated Apes display power… inspiring and always nice to see Squirty and Galloping Zaius which continue to elude me.

Pretty POTA rack toys are getting harder to find in the 21st C.

Nice display case, and I really like how you have everything displayed in it.
It's full, but not overly so. This gives one the ability to look at each bit individually if they wish.

And you have some stunning pieces in there. The artwork on the packaging is just a joy to look at.

Great display, I like the eclecticism of it.

I'm a bit envious, as my collection is not displayed.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

First off, very happy to see theressa again.

Brian, when I saw this image, I stopped listening, so forgive me if you already described it. Is this a vintage piece of the Icarus?

You are transparent; I see many things... I see plans within plans.

^^ Many unlicensed modeler versions of the Icarus have been done over the years; likely something similar to this:

Oh yeah, that's a garage kit a friend gifted me in college. I was into that scene for a while, even sculpted a kit (that blew up in the casting process sadly).
