    Doctor Octopus (Comic Version)

This was an upgrade to a custom i purchased. It was well done But I didn't like the arms and wanted to add my own flavor to it. I didn't go for the fat version. Kinda like how he was drawn in the ASM comic around 60 to160's. New dyed suit with a thinner neck piece, Orange hands instead of painted ones. Orange gauntlets, Arms from body instead of back mount harness and some level cut boots. I used a 1/8" drill bit in my dremel tool to fit the arms from a Hasbro Marvel Legends series Doc Ock. They are designed to be slid into place with a smaller piece that extends from the tentacle. I drilled a small enough hole so they stay in or I can remove them for storage.

WOW. If that was yellow instead of orange, you would've made a perfect Mego Secret Wars Ock! Very Nice!

Looks great, I like this version a lot, and were the level boots white, painted orange? sweet custom.

No, not a fan of painted boots or hands. Paint always seems to rub off or chip causing a not so good looking finished product IMO. I like that factory look as best as I can get it. These were originally orange from CTVT

No, they were Orange superhero boots from CTVT and I cut them down. I use a 2 inch pipe cutter and a 5/8 wooden dowel. I slide the boot over the dowel then cut below the trim at the top of the boot. Simply just spin - tighten - spin - tighten.
Here's a pic of how I cut level boots
