    Eddie Murphy hosting SNL

this is on as I'm typing this, but dvr'd it to watch tomorrow after work. Anyone watching or have hopes for it? But I'm pessimistic that we will see Gumby, Mr. Robinson or Buckwheat

Good thing you didn’t bet on that. You would lose 3 times.

I thought it was a fantastic episode! I love Eddie!

It was terrific. What made it really special is that he seemed genuinely joyful performing all those characters again..

That was great! I found it so funny. It sure lived up to the hype.

I was in Rockefeller Center, for another reason, late Saturday afternoon and the atmosphere felt electric, especially inside the NBC store.

It was amazing! When I was a kid Eddie Murphy was THE funniest person on the planet and this brought back so many great memories. I've been having a rough week, so I really needed that.

                          Didn't catch it yet

One of my fav EM sketches from back in the day was when Murphy did James Brown in the Hot Tub song

This is a good time for Eddie Murphy. First his Dolemite movie, and then this return to SNL -- it's like the old powerhouse Eddie Murphy who was always entertaining and funny is back!

One of the best in a long time. And that's saying something, because SNL has been on one of its epic highs of late.

With SNL it's always boom or bust. Some casts have it, others don't. This is one of those ensembles that comes around once a generation. And to have such a legendary Alumni as Eddie was a real treat. And he wasn't the only one who returned. Anybody sitting in that audience got their money's worth.
