    RIP Charlie X

Robert Walker Jr., best known for an early "Star Trek" classic and as the son of Robert Walker Sr. and Oscar-winner Jennifer Jones, has died. He was 79.

Will always be Peter Parker to me...

    when was he Peter Parker?

I always liked the Charlie X episode. now in so short a time, we have lost both the writer of that episode and the actor who played Charlie. RIP!

He also appeared as the leader of a hippie commune in "Easy Rider". He was a very good actor.

He bears resemblance to Nicholas Hammond, but to my knowledge he never did play the character.

Boy oh boy, watching Charlie X was almost therapeutic for me as a young teen, getting into Star Trek and identifying with him coming to grips with adolescence. That one performance alone will solidify his place in entertainment history.

I didn't say he played Parker. I meant he'll always embody Ditko's Parker to me.
