Custom DC Golden Age Sandman

I am interested in making a custom Mego of the Golden Age Sandman character from DC. Does anyone know what I can use or where I can find a suitable gas mask/face mask to put on his face?

Austing Hough used to make a resin head. If that's not an option, I made one by using this head and an AJ hat. It's a Toy Island Voice Squad figure.

So are these Voice Squad figures 8" scale??? I did not know that!!! Wow do I miss Mego-like web-site. Thats where I was able to keep track of all the other 8" line that I could use for fodder.
