The Irishman on Netflix premiered today

Martin Scorsese’s movie starring Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesci...is now on Netflix...

Great after Thanksgiving dinner watch, ha.

It’s a marathon of a movie...3.5 hours long. This is one of the reasons the movie was pulled out early from the theaters and picked up by Netflix.

Directed by Scorsese and starring DeNiro, Pacino, Pesci...count me in...

It's about Jimmy Hoffa, right ?

The Jack Nicholson movie seemed to be sufficient

I'll still watch it though … when Netflix decides to give me a free month again

Obviously a different take on Hoffa...plus anything that Scorsese directs is gold to me...

Well I guess if I'm still alive I might see it in 27 years when Netshaft relinquishes control and allows the rest of the world to view it, along with Black Panther, Solo, etc.

… I'd rather watch it in a theater.

We saw it at the Tampa Theatre last weekend. Not sure what is accurate and what isn’t, but it was a good film and goes by quicker than 3 1/2 hours. Don’t want to mention any details so I won’t spoil for anyone.

Just finished The Irishman. And let me tell you...it’s vastly waaaaay better than the Jack Nicholson one...and it’s not even close.

Nicholson’s Hoffa directed by Danny DeVito. The Irishman directed by Martin Scorsese. DeVito ain’t no Scorsese.

I tried to watch it but just couldn't get into it...too slow...I barely invested an hour, can't imagine lasting the 3+ hrs. I was bummed because I do like a good gangster flick.

we finished it last night. Good movie, not great, but good. A bit too long. I also found DeNiro's blue eyes distracting. it did not make him look Irish BTW

I've been working on it since Thanksgiving.. about 30 minutes to go

It's definitely a slog. The high point for me has been Pesci's performance.

His colored eyes were not my gripe...it was the strange CGI touch up on DeNiro to make him younger. I dug the movie, but that part was a tad distracting.
